Christophe Duplan proposes, in his own words, a programme of challenging music.
To accompany his interpretations, his scats, his improvisations with his organ Hammond from 1958, he surrounds himself for the occasion with virtuoso musicians and accomplices: Didier Desbois, clarinet, alto saxophone and the realization of arrangements, Jérôme Nicolas on tenor saxophone and Yvan Oukrid on drums.
This quartet performs a repertoire around songs from the 1940s to 1960s, revisited, transcribed and recreated, as coming from the same vein, where swing mixes with popular music.
An invitation to dance, tinged with poetry.
Christophe Duplan (chant, piano, orgue), Didier Desbois (saxophone alto, clarinette), Jérôme Nicolas (saxophone ténor), Yvan Oukrid (batterie)
