It’s at Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the period from the Liberation (of France) to the 60’s that the song “rive gauche” blossomed, from one cabaret to the next including artists such as Barbara, Cora Vaucaire, Leo Ferre, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg, etc. « We play on the word “liberation” as far as possible » so said Juliette Greco.
